Gymnastics Spot’s Competitive Program. We are a USAG Junior Olympic Training Center. We have gymnasts training and competing at most of the levels of the USAG. We have had numerous state and regional championship teams and individuals who have been at the top of their competitive level, and we really proud of them.

The Gym Spot Champions
Special Olympics Gymnastics Team

Who we are:
The Gym Spot Champions is an amazing Special Olympics Gymnastics team made up of hard working, dedicated and fun-loving athletes of all ages.  We are a co-ed team with special Olympians starting as young as age four and going all the way up to our adult athletes.  We divide the team based on gender, age and skill level.  So everyone can be a part of this amazing team!   Special Olympics is an incredible organization for athletes with Special Needs.  We welcome all Special Needs athletes to our program and do our best to meet their individual needs with low ratios, personalized attention and awesome staff! The cost is $135 for each 10 week session

When we meet:  We meet once a week on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. year round.  Our athletes ages eight and up also have the option of participating in different meets throughout the season including The St. Valentines Day Classic, Special Olympics District and Special Olympics State.  While many of our athletes do compete, it is not a requirement.  Everyone works at their own individual level and does what is best for them.

What we do:  Depending on the age and level, the athletes learn different skills and gymnastics routines for the various equipment.  Our gymnasts have the opportunity to participate in every event.  We focus on good sportsmanship, doing our best and being a good teammate.  These athletes are so supportive and encouraging of each other and it is a wonderful group to be a part of.  Everyone has a good time and is made to feel like part of the team.
